if he goes to a team outside the top 6 (7? 8?) he should get more pitch time. plus we can add a next-sale-percentage to the deal.
Saints policy of buying untested kids to ply their trade in the premier league, might be there undoing. Che Adams and Jarrod Bowen are decent larkers but will hardly send fear into the hearts of the other 19 clubs.
sounding more and more like £15m is the magic number here, few reports coming out around that valuation, cheap for a player like Bowen who has indeed done it successfully over the past two seasons, but since when have the Allams held out for proper money.
Is Clucas still playing for anybody ?They, well Ehab, don't hold out for the right amount. Never have apart from maybe Clucas.
a) because he doesn't know how to
b) he's outsmarted by other chairman
c) after he's made to look a **** (again) he reverts to type, and throws his weight around with the supporters, just to show he wields the 'power'
A typical spoilt brat bully.

Fair point, well made. That was when Southampton excelled: we took risks on van Dijk, Mane and Tadic - players who were big in their smaller leagues with the promise that if they excelled they would go on to bigger and better things. Once we moved away from that we got stuck with average players on massive wages that we cannot shift.
Fair point, well made.
Players move on, therefore if Bowen goes to you I'll be wishing him well. Good luck next season. Its nice to see clubs in cities that are a similar size to us doing okay. It shows prospective new owners what can be achieved, and God knows we need new owners. Thanks and apologies if it comes at your expense. We get frustrated with the cherry picking too - especially by Liverpool!!
