@SpeakSAFC Coventry goalkeeper Lee Burge is expected to join [HASHTAG]#SAFC[/HASHTAG] in the coming days. His agent has been in talks with Sunderland.

Not sure how true this is. Does anybody know anything about him?

Ive heard a depressing rumour Mcgloughlan is close to joining Millwall. If thats true all positivity of this signing has gone.

Can't see a Jock heading off to Millwall TBH. We're handy for the border and they're not likely to be promoted whilst we are. Is another L1 season such a big deal when you've only just moved?

We have signed two keepers, that alone makes you nervous.

You could look at it like that but we needed a replacement for Ruiter and the other lads in the youth team. Donald said we weren't "looking to move him on" or something similar which is a bit ambiguous but I don't think we'll sell him unless it's for daft money he's too important.

Nothing surprises me anymore. We have absolutely no idea what is going on behind the scenes. After all, who could have predicted that Catts would leave in way he did?

I think if we did sell him it'd be for good money, otherwise what's the point, and we'd spend some of it on a new first choice keeper or we're still down a senior keeper.

Yeah words to that effect "we are not trying to get rid" of either McLaughlin or McGeady - but if someone tables a £5m offer for McLaughlin then wouldn't it be worth selling as long as that money is going back into the club to buy more players which we need? All depends on the fee doesn't it

Probably would yeah, we had a mare with keepers prior to John but it's very unusual to not be able to find a competent keeper so it'd make sense to sell if we can replace and profit handsomely. I can't see anyone offering 5 mil mind, I'd guess more like 1 or 2 and it wouldn't be worth the gamble for that.
