    Not sure how to look at it? Could be just lining his pockets before he sells?

    The boy has talent without a doubt, but lacks football intelligence and vision to be top class. Half a season playing pass backs to the goalkeeper (theirs), half the time on his arse. Fantastic end of last season, but consistent? Not on the evidence of the last 4 years. Almiron to play at 10 or as a dual striker (he is not a winger) and see what he can do.

    Between Perez and Rondon they scored more than half of our total goals last year. At the moment it looks like they are both off and not a single sniff of any replacements. If 16m is true we are off our nuts without having a replacement on the edge of signing.

    TBH mate he's pretty ****e when you look at his stats and only reason I want him to stay is maintain some sort of squad numbers, month ago Spurs in for him for £25m ffs think someone tried to justify that<laugh>

    That’s actually great business. Before the second half of the season folk were calling for him to be dropped and he was probably worth £8-10m. Rafa got a tune out of him and Rondon for the second half and his real value is probs only 15-18m.

    4.5 seasons of patchy form at best and half a good season says we have taken their eyes out.

    Without Rondon and Rafa’s system the Perez of old could easily have resurfaced....
