I'm surprised they left the operation for so long. An undescended testicle is usually found at birth and sorted at 6-12 months of age. I know that in boys who are born with only one there's a cosmetic operation they can do to make the appearance look normal to stop embarrassment or teasing later in life. I'm glad the little fella came home quickly, minimising the trauma. Bet you've been out already and bought him his favourite transformer or whatever
Yep, that's what we've read. We've been doing annual visits to hospital since ge was two. Gave it every chance to rectify itself. There was another boy was in for the same operation who was about 10 or 11 at a guess so not the oldest it seems. Only just ventured out the house. Gave him the choice of treat...McFuckingDonalds
Don't go near the meatballs.* Seriously, hope the lad is ok - sounds like a bit of a nightmare for you all. *I have no idea whether or not McDonald's do meatballs - I've never set foot in any of their establishments.
Much more stressful than I was expecting but he's alright now; he's not moving too much because it's sore, after a few days it'll be much more testing, he's not allowed to ride a bike or play sports etc for six weeks. The lad can't usually sit still for 10 seconds!!!
So much for doing ****all this weekend. Because we're house bound with the youngest, I decided to try my new pressure washer out. 4hrs later and I've done the patio, drive, windows, doors and washed the car
You can basically return it now And the fine for water wastage is on its way hose pipe ban 2 hours into heat wave
No idea mate. Surgeon ****ed off on two week annual leave as soon as he'd finished #**** Not impressed with the nurse telling us it had collapsed before admitting she had no other information and then disappearing!
ask your lads GP to ask for the info on the grounds he will need to know the details in case there are later effects .
RIP Noel White Liverpool Football Club is deeply saddened by the passing of former director and chairman Noel White, aged 89. A hugely respected figure in the local and national game, White served as a director at Anfield for 21 years after joining the club from Altrincham FC. Noel had been chairman of the Trafford-based side between 1967 and 1986 and oversaw the most successful spell of the team’s history, before moving on to Merseyside and a new chapter with Liverpool. He spent two decades on the Liverpool board, until his departure in 2006, and briefly took the role of Reds chairman at the beginning of the 1990s. https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/announcements/355102-rip-noel-white It was during that time that White played a key role in the formation of the Premier League as one of the five founding architects before its subsequent launch in 1992. Noel was also named a Life Vice-President of the Football Association having worked with the organisation for more than 30 years from 1976, including 14 years as the chairman of its International Committee. His influence and impact on the game in this country was further recognised in 2013 when he was awarded the British Empire Medal for his services to football. The thoughts of everybody at Liverpool FC are with Noel’s family and friends at this sad time. RIP Noel White 1929-2019
Cheers mate. The mrs (nm) works at a local surgery so knows how it works and is on the case, I'll just leave her to it. Got to wait for the info to be sent to GP first. I received the hospital letter (inviting him for surgery) through the post when he was already an hour into the operation. Admin isn't their strong point!
Your Mrs (nm) could have sleep apnea. If she is tired a lot during the day, may even have to have a short kip, then she may have it. It can be cured by either a small operation, or if not possible to have the op the use of a CPAP unit. If diagnosed you have to tell DVLA and also tell them what you are doing about it as you can lose your licence. You can also fall asleep at the wheel, or make mistakes due to tiredness. There is also the possibility of dying in your sleep as you stop breathing and the snore is the intake of breath as the brain goes into panic and gets the heart and lungs to kick back into action.
