Is this the same one that became some kind of fashion accessory last summer? Around the 2018 World Cup Nike couldn't produce enough Nigeria shirts to match demand.
Good 3-0 win for girls today. Match full of controversy. VAR proved right decisions made. Cameroon were refusing to play after a VAR went against them.
Must admit to watching some coverage recently and the Norway vs Australia game last night was absorbing stuff. End to end, incident packed, VAR (of course) and a penalty shoot out. Have to say the quality and skill levels have improved immensely since womens' football first became a 'thing' May even have a sneaky peek at Brazil vs France in ten (10) minutes time
I watched what Phil Neville said after yesterday's game and he's absolutely right in being ashamed re the behaviour of the Cameroon players. I hope they are banned from the next women's World Cup.
I watched the Cameroon group games and thought they were on the receiving end of some poor refereeing decisions in all of them. Bit like we often feel when playing against one of the top clubs. No excuse for yesterday but a sense of grievance and bias against them had clearly been building up. The standard of refereeing in the games I've seen has been poor IMO.
Tackles, dives, no quarter spared so far between USA and France in the womens' WC quarter final. Blatant dive by USA's Mewis (?) deserved a yellow card, no one within a yard of the cheating bitch
