Update: Apparently he's been given an extra couple of days leave for personal reasons. He isn't AWOL, he's due back at the club this week to resume training.

Absolutely, everybody gets a clean slate. From what I saw of him he looks the part, hopefully he takes the chance to impress and does well for us.
And his mrs certainly used to brighten up my Saturday early on last season. Then stopped coming.
So he definitely needs to be given another chance.

Don't think PLT is suggesting that every signing would be perfect. To suggest as much is ridiculous
Turning up late for matches multiple times isn't just "not working out at a club" though is it? It's a bad attitude.
There's always 2 sides to a story though. He might have been told a bunch of lies when joining the club, that he'll be 1st on the team sheet, team built around him etc etc.. who knows what happened. I find it hard to believe that he's come here with a bad attitude for no reason, something or someone has pissed him off and thats unfortunately given him a bad reputation with the fans.
Id personally like him to start a fresh under McCann. Get rid of Grosicki who hasnt wanted to be here since we were relegated and start playing this kid.

Grosicki looked far more like he wanted to be here last season than Milinkovic did.
Something clicked for him under Adkins, hope it continues under new management.
