Spurs spending money? What is this? https://www.skysports.com/football/...nham-agree-65m-deal-for-lyons-tanguy-ndombele.
Looks like Palace are the new saints2014. Wan & Zaha.....and I'd bet my hat there's a load more to follow.
Maybe not the top clubs, but the Everton's & the like could do worse than have a peak at Milivojevic (top penalty taker in the virgin var season bumps his worth up considerably). Batshuayi Bloody good player, expect big things from him this term. And perhaps Townsend, although he blows hot and cold, but is always remembered for scoring a worldy. I liked the look of Palace last season, and was surprised they struggled so much. A little side mention to their steady but aging defence, and that new keeper looks really strong. If Connor Wickham is the first player you think of, then you probably need to get an up to date football magazine.
Batshuayi is back at Chelsea, was only on loan at Palace. Townsend is average at best, can't really say I've noticed too much of Milivojevic apart from the pens so not too sure on him, but I doubt the top teams or Everton would be in for him. They might/will lose AWB and Zaha but that will be it. Interested to see how Zaha does now hes matured a bit, fantastic player. Remember when people used to say Tom Ince was better than him when they were both in the Championship
On Milo, I wouldn't mind us spunking some millions on a good penalty taker. Its going to be a key component very soon.
Perhaps to save time all matches could go straight to a penalty shoot out and not bother with the 90 mins (plus 7-10 mins added on for VAR).
Some will feel like a 90 min shoot out. I wonder what the record for most amount of penalties in one game will be? Still think we need a guess the VAR stat thread, its going to be explosive.
I might do a var thread when the season approaches to try and keep my whinging away from match threads.
