"Sheffield United's Jack O'Connell has admitted it would be "hard to turn down" a move to Liverpool after his performances sparked rumours of the Red's interest."

Who...?
not seen him play to comment.

is this just a journo asking a question, or genuine interest?

Erikson wants to go to Manchester United.

Many Liverpool fans were blown away by Roberto Firmino on Saturday as he stole the show for Brazil during their 5-0 win over Peru in the Copa America. The 27-year-old Reds forward scored in the 19th minute of Brazil’s latest outing with a typical ‘no-look’ finish that effectively has become his trademark. Firmino’s flash goal and general display had the Reds fans who were watching gushing about him on social media, as one claimed the 27-year-old was “box office” while another claimed his goal should “literally be illegal” as it was that cheeky. It was good to see the 27-year-old in fine form for his country, but hopefully, he doesn’t burn out ahead of the new season from playing so many games. Firmino featured 48 times for the Reds in their 2018/19 campaign, scoring 16 goals while assisting eight, and started 82% of the Reds’ league games (Source: Transfermarkt), so really he could have done with a nice break this summer. However, with Brazil likely to go far in the Copa America and a busy pre-season scheduled for Liverpool, you have to wonder if Firmino will get the rest he needs ahead of the 2019/20 campaign.
How a rare failure in the transfer market led to Liverpool’s move for Fabinho

for me the lad has a season to look forward to and honestly it'd be one that makes little sense.

klopp would need to shift lovren on first off.

then second klopps reserve left back 8s more likely a midfielder or winger type than a cb lumbering about.

if sessegnon was a 10mil not a 70mil proposition it's certainly make more sense

Taken completely out of context. Bigger article as he’s an lfc fan and was talking about playing against us and how he went to Madrid and watched the game and if he was ever offered chance it would be hard to turn down.

Are we all assuming De Ligt can pick any club he wants <confused>

These clubs have to actually bid and make contract offers etc. To think he can literally chose any club he wants is crazy. I actually think City should go big on him, Kompany going and Stones being a liability they probably need him more than most... if they bid <laugh>

Real Betis want Divock Origi
Divock Origi is reportedly a wanted man in Spain with Real Betis the latest side linked with Liverpool’s Champions League hero.
The Belgian has just 12 months left on his contract, though the Reds plan to open talks with the forward and would prefer to keep him then lose him on a free than cash-in now.
But that hasn’t stopped Estadio Deportivo, cited by the Daily Mail, from claiming Real Betis intend to make contact over Origi.
However, they are aware his current salary is more than Betis would be able to afford.

City are having abit of an odd summer so far. A few links, but so far the only one that seems to have any legs is a 35yr old backup keeper

Maybe they think they're all set and don't need anything new?
Maybe they're more worried about the FFP accusations than they're letting on?

Who knows.

Been pretty quiet for us as well and really most of the rest of the league in comparison... boring.

Replacement for Fernandinho, Long term I presume.

They need to replace Kompany and look into someone to take over from Aguero (although I suppose that could wait till next summer).

Then I guess they're looking for Foden to be D.Silva's replacement.

Still not alot Really happened so far in the PL and its not like they is a major tournament going on to distract players
