A David Henderson, 60, from Nottingham, was apparently employed to fly the plane but passed the gig on to the unfortunate Ibbotson, who was in financial difficulties. So says the media report I found.

Those details don't appear to fit with the info on the person arrested. It will all come out in the wash.
That's the one.

A very tangled web.

I might be a bit of a conspiracy merchant but I still find it strange that Ibbotson's body has not been found.

It was said that he was in financial mire.

Agreed Dai. As the pilot he would have had the better opportunity to exit the plane before it went down. Were this to be the case then he must have had help and someone is hiding him.

The thot plickens.

All gone quiet on the "who owned him" front.
Not seen any statement one way or the other.
Are FIFA still arbitating?

McKay, along with Trump, Johnson, Corbyn and Piers Morgan is in the leading pack for the Scumbag of the Year Award.

Difficult to excel in that company, but McKay is the firm favourite.

Just heard on the radio that the Sala autopsy showed hed been exposed to caebon monoxide during the fateful flight. Investigators trying to understand how that was the case and the impact that could have had on ibbotson.

Also heard the other day that 2 people have been charged with circulating pgotos / videos of Sala in the morgue.

As if it wasnt bad enough, quite a few sub plots.

Finally, willie mckay charged with fraud having bought cars and expenssive watches while being declared bancrupt.
Fascinating and worrying to hear that he was party to discussions around one of our aborted transfers as in sparkeys earlier post. How can he get away with flouting the ban he has?

Interesting that its gone quiet on the case around the legality of the transfer.
If we were in the wrong I'm sure we'd be hearing about it.

Going round and round in legal circles I suspect

Sub plots indeed.

There's nothing in all of this sad affair that doesn't stink and not that needed any more convincing, it's showing again that there is far too much money in the game and that we need to rid it of these pariahs called agents.

It will be good for all concerned when the book is finally closed. Just as long as people have learned from it.

What baffles me is how long it takes to announce these findings. Sala’s body was found over six months ago and the final report won’t be available till January next year.
Also apparently carbon monoxide detectors are not legally required to be present in any aircraft which seems unbelievable.
