I decided to watch it, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the players. That's based on how poor they were when I watch them a number of years back.

However, it wasn't a great match by any stretch of the imagination.
 
20 mins in, 1-0 to both English & Scottish lasses. Come on girls.
With the English & Canuck girls already though, it'd be great if the Scots manage it, the odds would be decent for some overall satisfaction for our family (The ex-missus - well estranged missus) is French.

Ball retention problems just run right through English national teams .

That new rule about keeping feet on the line at penalties is some of the most ridiculous bollocks they've ever implemented. How the **** do you expect a keeper to stay still? how often in the past did a keeper stay on the line? Pretty much every single pen will be getting retaken.

Yes the penalties are gonna be a farce !
I'll just turn them off and it will really piss fans off if it drags on !
