Morning all. Bright, sunny and warm, just as it was yesterday afternoon. When I lived in the countryside in England I would frequently see foxes in the fields behind my house, or simply crossing the roads. To see one here is quite unusual, yet judging by some of the droppings I found in my fields yesterday I am sure that one had been in there. I also found the unmistakable hoof prints of deer that had been wandering around. I really would like one of those night vision cameras that they use on nature programs, so that I could watch just what they are getting up to.
I saw one very healthy fox two days on the trot in the middle of a day in the same field above our house in France ....... more than i have seen in ten years!

At the risk of being banned we met a very nice couple Whilst viewing their house. They said the market was a bit slow due to brexit, they then said they were Conservatives as were most round Here and they were proud to say so. I found it very comforting and refreshing.

I hope this comment does close down this friendly bar.<badger>

Of course it won't. But Dorset is now on the list of areas for bombing when we start the revolution <devil>

My friends who live in Dorset have been having a turgid time. First of all my best man was told that he had bladder cancer and has been receiving the same treatment as Dave. His wife had her diabetes diagnosed very late and since then has been in plaster for twelve months to prevent her putting any weight on one foot, had a couple of toes and a piece of foot removed. Her plaster came off some months ago and all looked well, but now a similar problem has appeared in the other foot, and that is now in plaster. I am not sure that they will move too swiftly if bombs start to fall.

I was thinking of water rather than mortar - am a friendly bloke really! And rather bizarrely my uncle is also in Dorset and lost a leg some years ago through Diabetes.

I feel very lucky not to have any major health issues at the moment just minor repairs , renewals or replacements due to advancing years. It is sad others are not so lucky.

Please review your passwords, there have been problems overnight with hackers, Dave's account has gone, hopefully temporarily. Not sure changing your password will help but just to be on the safe side it may be an idea...i actually can't remember mine! lol

I'm back home xxxx

Good morning all from a warm and wet Weston-super-Mare!

Have a good day <ok>

Morning all. Glad to see that you have been restored Dave. All this hacking nonsense is beyond my understanding or ability. This problem seems to crop up from time to time, and I wonder why anyone would wish to play silly games to disrupt the site. Hope you enjoy your day whatever you have planned, and look after the feet H, or your running days will be curtailed. :emoticon-0100-smile

Thanks M Frenchie, I will do! My first pair broke , I'm in my daughter's shoes and they're more comfy than mine...just!

It has been a non-stop day, apart from a quick lunch break. Soft fruit needed netting as it it beginning to ripen, the runner beans are running, so needed to be tied to poles to have them go up rather than sideways. Peas to be picked for dinner tonight, mange tout to have additional supports, general weeding and collecting tree branches that came down in the strong winds earlier in the week. No football that I just had to watch, so as it stayed warm and dry, I kept going until later than normal, and now it is relax time with a glass of Merlot. Day off tomorrow as it is monthly lunch day. It looks as if there will quite a few of us again as we have been asked to pre-order. A real gourmet menu again, and it is difficult to choose between the options. By tomorrow I will have forgotten what I asked for. I can still recite our team from the 1959-60 season though. :emoticon-0111-blush
