Could depend on the timing of the cash receipts from United .... unless, they borrow against the transfer agreement, as they did when Fabianski went to West Ham, and Mesa went to Seville
Take a look on the Companies House Beta website - Swansea City Association Football Club Ltd. The details of secured charges are included - those outstanding and those that have been satisfied
Sell Sell Sell......I doubt we would get £18m in one go like most transfers are done these days. Hopefully we have included a sell on clause for any future deals done on the player.....Now all we want is a Manager...
Praise for Jerkins , you couldn't make it up https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/man-utd-transfer-daniel-james-16392115
"but the current board owe Jenkins a debt of gratitude for pulling the plug on that potentially catastrophic deal, securing the club a hefty profit in the long run" Well that explains it then It's like turds passing compliments in the pan.
Sums up todays game , instant success if you're at the top ,small Clubs try to build for the future but when a decent footballer hoves into view the big Clubs come in and then dump in the reserves without developing , nice for James wallet but maybe not so good for his development if so called experts have their way https://www.express.co.uk/sport/foo...ter-United-Daniel-James-Man-Utd-transfer-news
Paying James that sort of money, I think he will get on the bench sooner rather than later, the boy is keen as mustard, fair play to him, he'll do well at United..............
Peanuts from the likes of Man Utd......Hope he at least gets his chances of playing for the first team but i very much doubt it when the first team players are on £100k and £200k a week... It is all up to him now and how much he can impress in training and reserve games.....I'm sure he is good enough but a daunting task for the lad...
But he'll be living his dream, Dai, for as long as it lasts. And there's no reason why it shouldn't. It is too easy to say he should sit back a year and see how ti goes and develop. Others are making the grade so why shouldn't he?
I agree, when people are raving about Declan Rice etc I don't see why Dan should be any different. When I see people mentioning £50 million fees for some Spanish player I've never heard of I think that Dan has actually gone on the cheap.
Its a short career and it's only one injury away from ending. I know a lot of careers fade away without making a big name for themselves, though they often make big bank balances. I'm not saying it's right that manure, man city, chelski, etc Hoover up young talent, then don't play youngsters, but you can't blame the players for cashing in. The big problem is that if youngsters don't cut the mustard at the big clubs, it's hard to go down the divisions, as the lower teams can't afford the inflated wages.
He is a one season impressionist so £50m is way over the top....If he had stayed for another season and had the same impact then maybe it is worth paying that sort of fee but never for one season......£15m is a fantastic fee with add ons and a sell on clause. Good player but not one of our best players we have ever had and i hope he does well. I can't see him being a natural first choice though....
