Three year deal and seems other fans at prior loan clubs are upset to have missed out on him.

Sound like a great signing.

Steve Arnold has moved to Northampton on a 2 year deal for an undisclosed fee.

This will mean that we can look for a potential new No. 1 now.

personally i think Arnold is a league two keeper, whilst he did his best he was not good enough( i know we got spoilt the previous year) i wish him all the best, but i hope we sign two keppers or that leaves cook as second choice keepper !

Sorry to "pinch" him lads. We appear to be losing Nathan Thompson ourselves on a free transfer, so hope that James Bolton can be a decent replacement for him.

Must say that goalkeeper Craig MacGillivray was a fantastic signing from you 12 months ago. Ever present for us last season.

We haven't seen much of Bryn Morris as of yet, due to some niggling injuries.

Hope you have a good season in 2019/2020 :emoticon-0148-yes:

Town seem to have a history of offering okayish deals to existing good players and then losing them.

MacGillivray was unfortunate to have Dean Henderson come in on loan from Man Utd and take the starring role. Mac played really well when given chances and would've been a great No. 1 but probably felt shafted by management. Gutted we lost him.

Bolton has progressed well with us, looked light weight at start but has turned into a toutough battling player who can make his way forward and provide attacking opportunities. Still misses the odd ball and let's a player in, but sadly for us you've got a potentially great player.

we have some intresting signings but still need two keepers, center back , right back, left back and an attacking midfielder

We're strongly rumoured to be signing almost 36 yr old Steven Morisson from Milwall.

"described as a "player who is always in the right place at the right time""

Morrison would be an interesting signing. In all those games at home last season when we dominated some of the weaker teams but could not win we were crying out for an experienced target man with presence and craft in the box. Whether he is too old will remain to be seen but he does not seem to be injury prone and has a good record in League 1. I must say overall I am encouraged by the transfer business so far- credit to Ricketts for making some realistic signings in places where we were lacking and no doubt we will soon be making a few more. I personally do not mind us being a bit more direct if it works but the main priority is to stop giving away bad goals.
