Very special moment for Jordan and his family.... Comes across like a good bloke. Hope one day he comes back home like Grant
Fair play to the lad, he has his critics but a picture holding that trophy will go a long way to silencing them. Nice to see local lads coming good.
I can’t stand him. Not from a football perspective but from an “antics” perspective! He’s awful to watch when he goes on and throws himself around. Reminds if John Terry! But he has time for SAFC as a club and remembers his roots so fair dues
I agree, he needs to calm down a bit and realise what a good player he is, one of the best passers of a football in the game, he is telepathic at times, he and Suarez were some combination, great to watch. I thought he would have followed Suarez to Barcelona at the time, but they missed a trick imo. I don't think Liverpool is an ideal fit for him somehow and would not be surprised if he does make another big move before coming home. Whatever happens he will never forget lifting the European Cup.
Yeah I hate the way he goes on on the field. Football ability I have no issue with but he does exactly what Terry used to do. Tries to ref the game himself. Awful to watch and awful as a spectator and parent. Worse than anyone in the premier league now imo
I like Jordan, but can’t comprehend that someone just referred to him as ‘one of the best passers in the game’. Behave.
I thought he was always a bit out of his depth at Liverpool. Klopp's tactics suit him down to the ground though and I can see how important he is to that team now.
absolutely agree! He’s good at what he does but saying Barcelona missed a trick not signing him when they got Suarez is surely a joke?
Xavi and Iniesta were still there when Suarez signed. Like Jordan couldn't have muscled in on the greatest ever midfield pairing in the history of the sport.
Henderson has an engine, and he is quick, that's why I rate him, the outlay would have been peanuts to Barca at that time, and even now. Its not the quality stuff like those two play or played, But he would have added something different, Suarez has not looked the same player he did at Liverpool, and Henderson was his main line of supply then. The stumbling block is Messi, as long as he is number one, no radical changes will be made, and will Suarez ever replace Messi, I doubt it now, so maybe no change will come until Messi has gone. Henderson may have missed the boat, but if Suarez did replace Messi who knows, stranger things have happened at sea, I don't do jokes, but I do mix metaphors.
Suarez has scored 131 goals in 162 games for Barca mate, hes always been immense. Hes 32 now so a decline in form is natural
I’m struggling to see any logic here. So, Jordan could have been an influence at Barca if they didn’t have the best player on the planet instead? There may be some truth, but he would have had a completely different influence to Messi, who’s scored and assisted around 300 goals since Suarez arrived at Barca. I think they made a solid decision to leave JH and stick with Lionel.
Henderson's wife has given birth nine months to the day after Liverpool's 4-0 win against Barcelona. Way to celebrate Jordan!
