Yet he doesn't have the balls and the willingness to take risk to face Wilder again. If you think his previous matches excuses him ducking Wilder now then you're a bit of an idiot or incredibly biased.
All we need is Fury to stop being a pussyfooting around and beat Wilder and then I can say I have a better body then the world heavyweight champions.
Pissed off because you were beaten by your own arguments please log in to view this image I hope you come back to this thread in the future - you are fun
@BigFox trying to push the Joshua bandwagon back on to it’s tracks. Mate the bloke is nowhere near the likes of Tyson or Lewis on a technical level, people have been telling the casuals this for years but his big punches have kept that hype train rolling and rolling. AJ is a loss away from becoming a laughing stock, Fury took the best the US has to offer and shook him all over LA, this after being a 28 Stone pie literally months earlier. They’re on different planets.
What bandwagon? Is the fact that I'm not immediately ****ting on Joshua like everyone else irking you? That my only reaction to the loss is being annoyed that I didn't stay up to watch it rather then weeping tears how I am a filthy casual for being a fan of his and begging forgiveness on this board? What is it about Joshua that makes people want to kick him when he is down? Is simply gatekeeping - he is popular so casual fans know him so "real" boxing fans want to bring him down a peg and keep this a niche sport? When have I claimed that Joshua was better then Lewis or Tyson? The only time I mentioned either of them was when someone was calling Joshua a dud for one loss and I asked if that means either of them are as they lost their titles to even bigger underdogs. One loss from a laughing stock? How does losing that demean all of his other past accomplishments? The likes of Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, Sugar Ray Robinson etc lost fights so does that mean that they are laughing stock as well? Fury took the best the US has to offer then ran away when he had the opportunity to face him again - I've said before the hypocrisy surrounding Fury compared to Joshua is ridiculous. You point to his past to justify his present actions yet don't do the same with Joshua. Joshua calls out Fury and tries to negotiate a fight that Fury doesn't accept and it is Joshua who is ducking. Fury refuses a rematch with Wilder to fight a nobody but that is sound strategy from a fat legend or whatever fanboys are calling him.
Great post. I don’t understand this attitude of ‘hardcore’ boxing fans. Speaking as someone who just likes seeing two guys punch each other and try to avoid being punched.
Thanks mate - it kinda annoys me that I have to justify being a fan tbh I should be used to it being a Leicester supporter...
Let's just stop this right here. Heavyweight boxing is currently a joke. You couldn't make a decent fighter out the top 10 put together. Tyson Fury is a boxer on his grannies side ffs. Joshua is a big lump of wood with a glass chin and the hand speed of an autistic chimp. @brb close this thread now. Thanks in advance.
No - keep it open. Soon enough Joshua's loss will be forgotten and the rest of us boxing fans would like a place to chat.
I can’t take anything you say seriously mate, your chat is that of a fanboy so I’m just gonna leave you to mourn the loss of your hero.
I would never class myself as a ‘hardcore’ boxing fan but when people like myself have predicted that Joshua will come undone when his head eventually gets too big, I’m gonna have a laugh at people who were adamant that he is/was the real deal. Folk have hyped his technical credentials to stupid levels with absolutely no basis whatsoever, well now it’s done, he’s a puncher with no legs and a chin like a Wilko teapot.
Joshua isn't my hero at all - I like him as a boxer and I'm not going to apologise for that. One of the first things I wrote on this thread was it's be hilarious if Joshua lost before he fought Wilder or Fury and now it has happened it is as those two have missed out on massive paydays. That his haters like you are calling me out and unable to defend yourselves when I reply is hilarious as well
Totally agree and it wouldn't be in his interests to fight Wilder again in a rematch now. As you have said, he was a ballooned mess just months earlier but took the Champ all the way, he now needs ring time before he fights him again. If he had done the re-match and lost, then he would have been well out of the picture and he knows that as do his management. Just goes to prove that he is in it for the long haul and not just the cash..
^^^^^^^ This. If you remember any of the real heavyweight champions then this current lot aren’t fit to lace their gloves.
Proving me right with that reply - twisting yourself like a pretzel to justify why Fury ducked Wilder and took a massive payday to fight a nobody instead
I was replying to Tel.. I only twist like a pretzel when I'm ****ing to porn.. A man's got to pay his bills but his reasoning was right. Trust me, I know..
One of the reasons is that amateur boxing scene is a joke - AIBA have been named from running boxing at the next Olympics due to corruption.
