He is not and never has been better than Fury.

Hes more powerful that Fury but Fury is a much better technical boxer.

Its a joke. Knocked out by a butterball Mexican roadsweeper. Total embarrassment.

If heavyweight boxing has ever been in worse shape it’s certainly not been in my lifetime.

I like how he was taking selfies laughing and joking after he lost. He is so manufactured it is unbelievable, basically a WWE personality

It is hilarious though for all the casual boxing fans who thought he was any good in the first place @BigFox

Same here - almost a big a upset as Lewis vs Rahman.

I find all these people lamenting the fate of heavyweight boxing hilarious - this is a sport and the unexpected happening makes things a lot more interesting.

Bet both Wilder and Fury are kicking themselves for not accepting fights sooner and cashing in while he was undefeated but ironically Joshua losing will help him in the long run - will have more opportunities now he can be beaten so long as he can regain the belts...

<laugh> I love how random people are suddenly coping me into posts as a "I told you so" because they hate Joshua for whatever reason as if his loss affects me in any way other then "oh ****, I should have stayed up and watched it live".

Also one loss and a boxer is no good? I wonder what are your thoughts on Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis who lost their titles in even bigger upsets?

"Cashing in" on the tragic deals offered by Joshua's camp to fight him? You are correct that it will probably help the bigger fights get made now because Hearn can't be demanding such one sided deals as he has lost the undefeated record. If he gets the belts back in the rematch then he still obviously is a huge draw for anyone, but boxing has gone so far down the road of "undefeated is super important" that him not having that anymore will effect it massively.

If you believe that Wilder/Fury were dodging him, then this loss helps as shows he can be beaten. If you believe they weren't dodging him but just didn't want to take the deals offered then this helps as the loss should make his camp less demanding. So it is a win/win really for the people who want to see Joshua fight one of/both those two.

    Joshua the dud

I'm no pro...no deep analyser but I've grown up watching some real Spartan warriors in the ring and Joshua has never quite got my interest.

Boring ****e...every fight I've watched him in...the other bloke always looks like he's got a punchers chance.

Those "tragic deals" were due to Joshua holding 3 belts and being the much bigger draw not the undefeated record - they were more money then either boxer ever made and most likely ever will make given the discrepancy in theirs and Joshua's media profile - you were moaning about Joshua being a nice guy and posing for selfies and the like, but that is what made him the draw he is because he was the guy that was invited on chat shows and the rest and he was the guy the casual fans knew and wanted to watch.

Either way if it means that Fury and Wilder will stop publicly calling Joshua out when they making fights against other boxers then that will be good.

Why does losing one fight make him a dud when he won all of his others including 3 world titles one by one?

What is it about him that makes people want to **** over his accomplishments and kick him when he is down?

Whatever else I have to say about Fury, this is a classy response from him - have to laugh at Whyte though <laugh>

Called him a dud because he seems to spend most of his time avoiding decent fights

I think he's boring...Maybe due to his last opponent being rushed in he forgot to do his homework on him.

We don't all have to love AJ...I prefer my Boxing heros to be like Tyson Fury

Reckon Wilder would take AJ to the cleaners too.

Everyone loses...but this man is dry

You don't think Fury is avoiding decent fights? - refusing a rematch against Wilder and facing some random German kid is fine to you?

He's got to earn money somehow...AJ wasn't interested in either him or Wilder when they were both hot on his heels...too many financial technicalities.

Anyway I'm glad AJ took a beating...I just don't see a Legend in him...I see a great Promo bandwagon behind him though.

I see - one rule for someone you like and another for someone you don't which is fair enough.

He fought an unbeaten Klitchko in his backyard and Wilder in America.

Hardly the actions of someone who avoids fights.

And refusing a rematch with Wilder isn't avoiding a fight?
Exactly - which makes both Wilder and Fury look like numptys for not capitalising and the cow has been milked by a fat Mexican instead.

Beating a champion in their back yard showed guts and balls and he won.

Fighting Wilder in the US showed balls and the willingness to take risks.

If you think the lack of a rematch against Wilder makes the previous matches irrelevant then you're a bit of an idiot or incredibly biased.
