Ok so the game wasn't great, they usually aren't (Loads of **** coming from Ferdinand seeing as his CL win was absolute stinker against Chelsea).
Were Spurs the better team? Lots of possession maybe, but did nothing with it, didn't have any proper shots until 70mins.
Frankly in a final it doesn't matter who were better, just who won...... and we won
Spurs were let have it. that is all. we let them have it and alli was terrible, mane never moved first half, son was controlled. they made so.many unforced errors.
if we had to we'd have pressed the life out of them.... that simple.
spurs had too.many half fit, not sharp players.. they gave their all. they had no more to give and will rue a few but none of them were great chances unlike.milners.
I felt as though once we got one we sat back and just controlled.
Hard to say who was the better team. They had more possession, but we were playing defend the lead for 93 minutes.
It was a fair game, and a clean game, and we scored the only goals, I'd have a hard time saying who were the better team... Obviously, we had the better finishing though... Just about.

Game was poor. 3 week break/nerves who knows.
But **** it, Got the win!!! Totally deserved. Spurs had half chances and all the ball but we just kept them at arms length.

there's always one isn't there.... he stunk up the French league on loan, he stunk up the German league on loan. he's lucky he'd a.manager who gives people chances nor predetermined opinions. aka mourinho.
origi in fairness to him worked in training and was given his chance and took it when it came and is now a hero forever.
I was so glad they played Kane. He's a player needs a run of games to get going, so he was never going to do anything tonight, also with Matip and not Lovren.
I will say, the lack of games between the end of the season and the final is a big hindrance for English teams. Only Chelsea out of the 4 this year looked sharp.

How bitter is Glenn hoddle. In middle of celebrations going on about how poor Liverpool were

frankly I'm glad now it wasn't Ajax as they'd have been much tougher.

Also is VVD made the biggest impact of one player on a team? I can’t comment on Kenny or Keegan or Rush but they came into already very good team.
VVD came into a decent team and turned us into CL finalists and one of the best teams in Europe.
