thats the thing last year we in general played miles better than tonight yet got diddly squat. tonight we were ****e and won comfortably- If you look in the record books in 10 years timeIronic that in my lifetime I've seen us lose 2 CL finals where we largely played well, and won 2 CL finals where we largely played poor
like us get their next year and it may all be different just depends on the roll of the dice on the night .
Weird how all the pundits telling us beautiful football doesn't win trophies are now whinging today wasn't a good advert for the game

From a neutral point of view it was not exactly riveting and neither side were great but none the less I think it was a fair enough result and one that was deserved overall for the season. Congratulations Liverpool.

Ok so the game wasn't great, they usually aren't (Loads of **** coming from Ferdinand seeing as his CL win was absolute stinker against Chelsea).
Were Spurs the better team? Lots of possession maybe, but did nothing with it, didn't have any proper shots until 70mins.
Frankly in a final it doesn't matter who were better, just who won...... and we won
