Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks is in contention to feature in the Champions League final against Liverpool in Madrid on June 1.

The midfielder, who has been out since early April with a groin injury, is back to full fitness and has trained all week with his Spurs team-mates, Sky Sports News understands.

He's a big addition to them frankly.

The real question for me is how many non match fit players will spurs have and will they last the pace.

Winks and sissoko is a lot lot better for them than having dier and wanyama.

The last time Harry Winks played for them against us we over-ran them in midfield and that was in the 2-1 win at Wembley. There is absolutely nothing to be afraid of, he's not any way strong enough to pose a threat.

2-1 isn't the 4-0 win i'm dreaming of either.

he can pass the ball though and thats what they lack imo.


I said right after wolves came i'd wished the CL final was right after the season ended. this is a bloody huge delay. I have to seriously wonder why was the prem season so compacted to finish that soon as we've clearly got 2 weeks at end of year free here. why do were torture teams (all teams) around christmas and then force in midweek league games as well for no reason.
