I hope we don't win this one. I watched the lad several times playing for Jackett the season before last, and he was absolute pants - hooked off several times.

Must admit I didn't see him at all last season but he would have had to improve a hell of a lot to get anywhere near our level in te Championship - and that's not stellar by any means.

Should Fulham get £30m (how much?????) for Mitrovic it has been reported (Evening Standard) they will pay £20m for Dwight Gayle (that's a bit out of our league, I was thinking £12m maybe) and £15m for Assombalonga.

Hell, I thought things would be a bit cheaper in the Championsip. Are Fulham that league's equivalent of Man City?

They spent a lot to get up, a lot more in failing to stay up and will lose 60M income this year. Would have thought they'd need the 30M to plug the funding gap. FFP could rear it's head if they don't go straight back up.

We came close to staying up, they were miles off for all their spending.

I'd put us to finish above them again this year.

The words / phrases "thought to be" and consider always raise doubts with me.
Put them together and it's probably made up.

Saying that, him and vaulkes would appear to be a dynamic combination.
A dynamic midfield isn't a phrase I've used or heard used about Cardiff for some time. Maybe in the days of kavanaugh?

Rumour has it Fulham are interested in Arter with Bournemouth ready to sell. Surely the club will put a bid in.

The fact that Scott Parker is his brother in law and Arter has had a family home in London for years even though he's a Bournemouth player would probably have a slight effect on his decision where he wants to play.

No doubt Fulham would also pay Bournemouth more for him than City, and offer higher wages to boot makes it very unlikely that he would end up here.

Arter had said he didn't want to play in the championship, but as Sparkey says, personal relationships and hard cash may sway that.
Don't see him coming to us.
Doesn't seem any let up in Fulham's spending. Arter will want a big salary for the championship.

Another journo bored and desperate for something to post.

After an encouraging start at Spurs Holtby faded. Plenty of energy but passing and vision not up to Spurs standard.

However could do a good job in the Championship assuming all the ifs, buts and maybe fall into place.

Lowe is a waste of time. If our main targets include a player like that then we're fooked.

No silly money, but time to fund the required purchases at a level that will make a difference - and no, not another £6M Madine thank you!
