No not his willy...his tackle which resulted in Arsenal getting a player sent off...

...a lot of people are saying that it was worthy of a red?

I would just like to ask why? H ewas going straight towards the player, got to the ball first with one foot and his momentum (a lot of it) took him into Diaby...

...or do I have misty eyes here?

What the media saw
Barton viciously attacked Diaby with a breadknife and cut off one of his ears. He then proceeded to make threats to his kids and told him that if he didnt push him, he would kill his entire family. Diaby's reaction was completely understandable

What actually happened
Barton makes a fair but tough one legged challenge that wins the ball. Diaby then acts like a little girl who's just had her pigtails pulled

at first thought i thought it was bad (but thats from level 7) so my eyes may have been strained, but i never thought it was a red card at all just a yellow at most if it was a foul at all

haha love it... totally agree! :L

Joey Barton is playing out of his skin and is totally dedicated to the TOON! He could easily be a Geordie with the pride he has in wearing the shirt.

Thomo on Sky Sports at the time said it was just a good hard tackle, watched it on Football First tonight where commentator was a bit hysterical about it saying he launched himself off the ground which I couldn't see, MOTD Lawrenson no question at all it was just a good hard tackle, Wenger when interviewed by BBC for MOTD as usual didn't see Daiby's reaction clearly, interested in Goals on Sunday tomorrow, great comeback and if Best's goal had stood as it should of would have been spectacular.
