Let's hope it's not an "Infamous Five".

I'd make do with the fab 4.

And for starters, the three muskateers.

    Dynamic duo anyone?

    Please let it be 6.....

Just one for the pot to discuss Anyone up for another loan from Everton. <yikes>

No, not that one!! I'm talking about a defensive midfielder we should have taken instead of Grujic from Liverpool. Not heard anything this time though I did hear a whisper 18 months back - Muhamed Besic is the name.

On loan at Boro last season, and now gone back to Everton where he hasn't figured recently. Pulis having now gone, Besic's "natural" new manager must be Warnock, and I'd take him onboard to replace Gunnar in a heartbeat.

A good player, impressed for Bosnia v. Wales a few years ago. Not sure about consistency with only 166 league games in 9 years (lost 2016/7 to injury) and with only 4 goals doesn't seem to get forward much.

However if anyone can get the best from him it would be Warnock.

Saw that Nin. Some possibilities apart from Mings(flatters to deceive) and Ambrose (signed by Derby as temporary cover and didn't get a kick - I would prefer to keep Connolly).

Would love us to get Wilson but if not in Liverpool squad likely to be loaned to a lower Prem side to broaden his experience. Might even go back to Derby if they go up.

As you say, we can look forward to next week's list.

Very little said about the back room twins Blackmore and Jepson. Are they so joined at the hip to NW that irrespective of anything they’ll stay or go en bloc?

I’d like to see some ‘younger’ people on the training staff, maybe more in tune with modern day football<whistle>

    Rowberry seems highly rated.
I said in another post that I'd like to see an "attack coach" added to the management team.

The Dyer link sounds interesting. Colin continuing his "root and branches" review of the club?

Given Colins reputation for wanting seasoned pros in his teams, not sure he'd get in our team.

Cameron Coxe has attracted the interests of a number of clubs. He's a fullback and colin keeps looking for one.
So if he's not going to pick one we have, what does he want another youngster for? Cant see the lad wanting to play in the 23s!

I think you'll find he's still on Villa's books for another season but been been loaned out for a few years - he even went over to Australia on loan.

If Villa get promoted this season, his wages will go up to £70K a week for next year as part of his 4 year contract with them. <yikes>

Nice work if you can get it.

Looks a useful player, albeit in Scotland.

Our last cross border signing, Paterson, hasn't done badly and will come back into his own in the Championship. Were we to sign Turnbull, perhaps Callum can take him under his wing and show him the ropes.

We have done pretty well with Scottish signings in the Championship over the last 10/12 years.
