Shirts now are always too busy with labels....nothing would look good with 3 logos on the front UA, our badge and the blue monstrosity. And the Virgin Media patch on the arm just adds to the mess. Those are the problems...not the underlying shirt. Coco Chanel couldn't have made anything tasteful out of that lot.

The black dandruff detector panel on the shoulders doesn't help the look.

Coco the clown may have though

Obviously it's quite a subjective thing - everyone's tastes are different - so they're unlikely to ever create a kit that everyone loves.

However, I personally haven't liked any of the UA kits other than the 80s throwback one. Last season's was okay, but the new one and the 'bra' one are two of my least favourite kits. I wonder if it's a bit of a 'if it doesn't look great we'll get more engagement from fans and pages on twitter, and therefore more publicity' situation, a bit like the new BT logo. I think it's more likely that they're just poor designers though (in my opinion).

I think part of the reason the kits aren't going to appeal to everyone is that the club make sure to make a noticeable change to the previous seasons kit; purely to increase sales. The push for revenue i so great, hence the move from each kit lasting 2 seasons to changing home, away, 3rd and keeper kits every year.

Less people would want to buy a kit that looks almost identical to the one they bough just 12 months ago..

The new Athletic Club kit is pretty nice. Maybe they could return the historic favour and give us 50 jerseys for our first team to wear.

They play for the crest and colours, but they are happy to drop the name of the city they represent. <doh>

I looked on Wikipedia and it seems like they were founded as Athletic Club to recognise English influence. They were made to change to ‘Atletico Bilbao’ under Franco’s rule but averted back to the original name in the 70s. I think their fans call it both. Quite interesting

Just hideous, why have the black splodge at the top? If it was pure stripes or even red/white it may have been quite smart.

To be fair though, who cares as long as we give king Ralph some money to spend.
