Liverpool have upped their interest in RB Leipzig star Timo Werner in the last to weeks.

Liverpool have been tipped to sign Werner from RB Leipzig this summer, with the Germany international expected to leave the Bundesliga club at the end of the season.

The 23-year-old has established himself as one of the deadliest players in German football, scoring 61 goals from 112 games across all competitions.

And transfer expert Ian McGarry has claimed Liverpool have upped interest in Werner.

“We mentioned a few weeks ago on the podcast that they have an interest in Timo Werner at RB Leipzig and that interest has increased I’m led to believe in the last two weeks,” he told The Transfer Window podcast.

Pochettino emerges as Juve favourite
Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has emerged as one of the favourites to replace Max Allegri atJuventus, according to the latest odds.

Despite still having one year left on his contract, the Italian champions have confirmed that Allegri willleave the clubthis summer after five years in charge.

Poch at Juve is a good shout but I’d have thought that Conte is a shoe in there.

As for Werner. Nobody knows who we’re interested in.
 
Liverpool will be among a number of clubs keeping a watching brief after Ajax confirmed in-demand winger Hakim Ziyech will leave the club this summer.

Ziyech was one of the stars of the Dutch side this season, who were within seconds of facing the Reds in next month's Champions League final and have completed a domestic double.

The 26-year-old Morocco international has scored 21 goals and contributed 24 assists in all competitions this season, and was named the club's player of the year.
 
Liverpool have opened talks with Champions League hero Divock Origi over a new contract, Football Insider understands.
Football Insider revealed early last month that Liverpool were ready to offer an extension to the Belgium international after the strong impression he had made on and off the pitch this season
A Liverpool source has told Football Insider that discussions have now begun with Origi’s camp over a deal that will keep him at the club beyond next summer, when his current agreement expires.
Jurgen Klopp has been convinced not only by Origi’s vital goals but also his attitude and application at the club’s Melwood training headquarters.

I wasn't impressed with his all round game.
 
isn't he another with a £25 mill clause.

do the media get all their stories off various forums etc <laugh>
