I've got a sneaking feeling about this. Man City might spring a surprise and win it!!

I see even Elton can't be arsed to turn up. The FA Cup's like nostalgia. It ain't what it used to be.

So many great memories , so many **** memories...

- that first 15 mins
- Quinny tying Aaron Ramsey in knots for our second
- knowing that half the ****ing planet was watching Hull City, most of them willing us to win

but also
- the feeling that the club/city didn't own the event enough, it seemed like we were a bit player at times
- the realisation that the status quo or establishment (call it what you will) prefers this smug oligopoly of six or so teams
- Arsenal

Capped by the sulking Allams putting their own petty spat with the Council above the players, fans and citizens wish to have some kind of open bus jaunt round the city to commemorate this all time best by our club and indeed city. They got their faces in the Royal Box pix, that's all that mattered to them ultimately.,

I thought that was just me
Watched it there, never watched the whole thing again

I watched the highlights when we got home but that’s been it for me too. Had it recorded but deleted it unwatched.

This was the pic on the ad breaks of the highlights though ... could only happen to us.

Typical

Yes I deleted the recording unwatched too

Amazing memory though

It certainly wasn’t the best day, we lost.

The all important 1-1 draw against Stoke a few months later was better.

Pffttt didn’t get to me one bit that, waste of time posting it.

Luckily, I was there with my Dad. Just before he capable of making a trip to Wembley.

I'll be be forever grateful for that, he loved Abide with me and he loved the whole day, an dream he never thought he'd see.

Losing didn't matter much to him either Chazz. He said he wasn't teary eyed, but he was.

I'll be forever grateful he was there for that, as, so many missed out.

Did anyone else think of their Dad??

Recorded the game, kept on planner for about a year, deleted unwatched.

There was a point in the game when fryatt was running through, shoulder to shoulder with koscielny (however the **** you spell it). Ref blew for a foul. Was it a foul???? As I say, never watched it again. It did not look it from where I was. Remember thinking if it was some arsenal bellend through on goal, it would not of been a foul.

Going 2-0 up was one of the best feelings ever watching City. To do that in a game of that magnitude is something which none of us had experienced before. Remember on the Friday evening not feeling bothered if we won or lost, just that we put in a performance that would do us justice primarily and if we won then great. Many had watched City before us and never got to see this day so we just had to savour the day and make it as memorable as possible.
