It was good to see us getting physical for a change and killing the game off. Cattermole nullified their midfield and they rarely troubled us. Job done.
It's going to be sort of weird going back to a playoff final against Charlton. I was at that unbelievable final in the 90's. We need to put that right.

Good, I assumed the kicking fan had been arrested but couldn't see anything in the media to confirm it. Sometimes the police and stewards have to hang off for a while to avoid the situation exploding.
Yeah i saw he had tried to get over the barrier, even that in itself carries an offence of encrochment of the pitch, which is covered by terms and conditions of purchasing a match day ticket.
They should have sent a few more city players off then...

I don't understand all this points system, so what would you have had to do during the season to gain the extra 7 points?
Points are carried over from previous seasons mate so chances are there wasn't much I could really do. There's a pre-season game vs Inter that I haven't applied for as I'm usually away during pre-season and that would've gotten me an extra 5 points I think. It's hard to tell though, if I'd have gotten more points then the cut off may have been higher anyway. I have 181, the final cut off was 188. Gutting but oh well. Spurs are showing the game at White Hart Lane so I'll just go there, probably second best place to be after Madrid.

We'd decided we were just gonna slum it and drive all the way if we got tickets. Hotel/ flight prices to Madrid were a joke and even flying out to say Portugal and then hiring a car/ camper van from there was getting too pricey as the days went by.
Oh well, gutted but WHL should still be great (if we win!). When I was in Dam I got texts saying Tottenham High Road was going mental after the semi final win so should be a whole lot better if we manage to win the final.
