Especially Arsenal-Newcastle, 4-0 after 68 minutes, 4-4 in the end. I've just come back from their board and they seem to be blaming the referee. i'm sorry, but even with 2 penalties, fair or not, you just do not throw away a 4 goal lead in 20 minutes and blame it on anyone other than yourself.

Best day in the premier league for a while. Match of the day might actually be worth a watch.

It looks like Blackpool can't get off the 28 point mark.............they're playing better than we did but I can see them being pulled into the bottom 3 before too long

I have been thinking that about Blackpool for a while. Suddenly they are not looking very comfortable at all. Match of the day followed by the Football league Show should be a decent night in!

I've been hoping they wouldn't have an "invincibles" season. Thank god for that :p

Neither match of the day or the football league show are ever worth watching :/ especially the latter. Bhasin, Claridge and Leroy can all go for a long walk off a short pier imo. The fact they only ever show about a min of footage and we're always last almost makes me cry. 6 goals, local derby and I still reckon we'll be near the end of the round up :/

Since we're not QPR or Leeds, they won't really care about us too much. We were the very last game after our 3-2 local derby win over Sheff Utd. it must have been the best game of the day, and they put us on last. They always put us on last, it's just their principle. I don't even see what their obsession with QPR and Leeds is, QPR are fairly slow but effective side and Leeds are just really physical rather than a footballing side.

    FFS.

After the feature match they put the games on in the order of higher placed team in the league table (I think how the table stood before the game) so the Sheff U game was last because we were both near the bottom of the league. As long as they aren't the feature match, the Palace, Ipswich, Pompey and Preston games should be after us today as our position of 13th was higher than Palace, Boro, Ipswich, Sheff Utd, Pompey, Derby, Preston or Bristol City.

    Conspiracy theory over.

And the feature match is chosen in advance. My pick this week I think would have been Burnley/Norwich with an automatic promotion chasing side visiting a playoff chasing side that was in the PL last year, as opposed to one of the lowest scorers in the league going to the side with the worst home record in the league.

    FFS. (Unneccessarily aggressive beginning)

I don't think it's fair that they put us on last every time. Why do we matter any less just because QPR or whoever are above us? We haven't been the 'feature match' all season and whatever there system is, we always end up on last. They seriously need to review their systems for choosing what the feature match is, and for ordering the ones after that.

The way for ordering it after the feature match is fine. The teams at the top should be playing better football so they get to be shown first.

The feature match though should be chosen once they know what the results are and which games are worth watching. I seem to remember MOTD announcing the games on the Friday in the past which is ridiculous. I suppose it's fair enough to put the lunchtime game on first so they can say they went top of the league or missed the chance without it contradicting what's been on the show previously and for the 3 o'clocks they can use the fact they knew what had happened earlier in the commentary.

Bollox to MOTD and all that premiership this and premiership that bull****. When does Football League show start? I am going to have a can in my hand, my feet on the puffy and my City scarf tied around my head, Japanese kamikaze style in sympahy with Scunny's kamikaze defending.
