I’m interested by the accusations that Farage is a racist. Please could somebody provide some real examples of this. I’m not saying he is or isn’t, just interested in proper examples, not just somebody’s opinion based on what he didn’t actually say but they have decided he meant, or the very dangerous received opinion stuff.
And you can vote for the Putin-loving, racist, lying hypocrite Farage should you choose Goldie. Voting for him doesn't necessarily make you any of these things. To be clear (for certain others), the fact that all racists voted Leave doesn't mean that all Leave-voters are racist.
I'm quite sure there are anti-semites from the Labour party that voted Remain. You're constant attempts to equate Brexit with racism smacks of desperation. You've obviously seen how Farage is flying in the latest polls. That's democracy at work.
Corbyn has never said a word of criticism about Putin even when his henchmen were poisoning innocent British subjects as well as Litvinenko. Lefties always ignore when their own kind are murderers so long as they're politically the right kind of murderers such as Maduro...
No, Strolls. I'm not completely convinced. Not being funny here, but tell me what this picture is actually saying.
It's saying (I think) that the EU will let these brown-skinned, bearded, probably Muslim, possibly terrorist people invade your country.
There's a difference between failing to criticise Putin and declaring him to be the 'world leader I most admire' as Farage has, isn't there?.
There's the rub, Strolls. From my point of view, I have no issue with the free movement of peoples within the EU - who would seek to deny others the chance to live and work across the member states with the ease that has been made possible? - but struggle somewhat with the concept that, should another member state allow immigrants in (legal or illegal), then they are subsequently free to travel wherever they well please. I don't think its racist, particularly in these heightened security times, to ask questions about such things. Like any politician, Farage was probably guilty of exaggeration to make a campaign point, but that's what all politicians do.
As leader of the party many believe will form the next government a person who describes Hamas, Hezbollah and the IRA as 'my friends' is far more alarming than someone who is a far cleverer political operator than Corbyn but will never be our Prime Minister as he is simply the only outlet for those Brexit supporters who have been sold a pup by 400 or so politicians who lied they would honour the referendum result...
The thing is, these immigrants would not be free to travel anywhere they pleased until they had become naturalised in their adopted countries, and even then would have to satisfy employment criteria before they could settle here. The poster didn't say that, did it? It was designed to frighten people.
so all the people camped at calais have been accepted into france then why do they then travel to the uk ine the backs of trucks
Absolutely. As I said to Goldie, he could have chosen a pic of some white Polish plumbers, but that wouldn't have been so scary would it?
