After spending ages nagging my daughter to get a part time job I was appalled to discover how much she was getting paid in Paperchase (though it was a lot more than £4), especially given that she was essentially running a concession in House of Fraser herself every Saturday, with sales targets and all.Ha. It’s a real pisstake that it’s barely £4 an hour for a teenager doing the same job as someone else over £8.
We won’t get rid of theses cretinous inequalities through state driven top down stuff, or voting for Corbyn. Pay everyone the same and hold the means of production in common. Demand the impossible.
