Basically they were unable to deal with route one football. Teams just don’t play that way in Holland.

The last goal was route one, but then it was deep into injury time and it was the only way to go. In contrast, the first was a beauty - classic counter attack.

For sure bringing on Llorente disrupted their defending, they couldn’t handle him.

Defensively they were poor, they were open and were always going to concede chances. I think the RS would have torn them a new one in the final so I was pleased you scraped through in the end.

I don’t think Pool would have had it that easy. They’re a very good side with great technical ability.

They also keep the ball very well and are tough to dispossess.

But, yeah, Pool would most likely beat them.

On the ball they’re great, without it, not so much. They’d have crucified that high line with their quick counters imo.

I think the final will be a cat and mouse affair against your lot. You know each others style inside out and it’ll be cagey imo.

I’d say Lucas Moura seized that tie, personally. After Spurs went more direct.

Very different to last night’s game, anyway.

We played well as a team last night. Bit shaky to start with, but you expect that going away from home in a semi final 2nd leg with the home crowd urging their team on.

After we equalised, we pretty much controlled that game though. Their second was a bit of a scramble, and we’re still prone to defensive lapses , but going forward we are as good as anybody at the moment.

Can’t see your Keystone Cop defence holding out for long against Hazard.
