Glad I am not the only one that saw that Messi threw a sneaky punch wasn't full on punch but was very snide though.

So much has been discussed but I was happy to see Gomez back and do a full 90 mins against Barca. It is clear whatever team we play, they always target our right side. Before his injury, he had formed a very formidable partnership with VVD. Matip has been very reliable since Jan and it would be unfair to drop him for Gomez.

I also liked how Fabinho played but what is clear, Spanish sides give you more time on the ball than EPL sides. The amount od times I saw no pressure against out less technical players was astonishing.

We are still a work in progress and if we can have another window of quality to add guile in midfield and competition up top, we should even get better.
