They are 2 points in 2 games from tying up second in the Championship. Assuming they meet all the criteria, that would put them into the Super League. A good time to be a Spurs fan.

Bale, Modric, Soldado and er, some Germans, I guess?
With this and the International Champions Cup, we're going to need to strengthen the squad to get through pre-season! <laugh>

Big congrats to Spurs Ladies on their promotion to the WSL <applause><applause><applause>

Like the fellas, they've only drawn one all season, but it was enough to clinch 2nd place.

Spurs are the "Bumble bee" of PL club operation. :)

Too tight. The gap between us and the rest of the top 6 - none of whom are particularly close to costs exceeding revenue themselves - is imo unnecessarily wide. Even increasing our costs by 20-25% could be trans-formative for the club and I doubt runs the risk of crippling us.

It was the first year at Wembley where revenue went up a lot (as would have stadium costs). But it doesn't need to be that tight in the future.

    For me it's good management.
This was the season at Wembley so income rose on old player contracts.
This is the summer when management will/can sit down and recalculate costs-especially after a few games in the NWHL and the new income.
Any team over 90% are in trouble IMO as that is unsustainable. And irresponsible.

My worry is that the rest of the top 6 are - relatively speaking - operating well withing their means. I was hopeful that wouldn't be the case.

Dimensioning vs profit would probably be even more scary
for several clubs (though I suspect Spurs would still be top of the pile) .

It would also make sense to measure Spurs this way, as a fair amount
of the profit figures for the two seasons pre new WHL would be reduced
(a fair amount of it will be used to repay the new WHL debt) .

It's finally happened, one of David Collier's mob has accused us of antisemitism!

...although, sadly, it took three hours to be put back in their box
