Can we be greedy and say “bring in two solid defenders” ?? That we would be really good.
I agree....the improvement is massive...and especially pleasing to see improvements in players such as Redmond and JWP (just as examples) and some youngsters being developed. Hope we have a good summer and come out of the traps next August.

A few minutes away from completing a set of wins against the teams I think we will be amongst next season (Leicester, Everton, Wolves and Watford) since big Ralph took over. Add that to wins against Spurs and Arsenal, a draw at Chelsea and an unlucky loss at Utd (we even gave the Scousers a fright!) and there is much cause for optimism moving forward, especially after a Summer squad shake up and a full Ralph pre-season....I can't wait until August personally.
It's alright, I lived in the frozen North. The polar bears will get them before they get me.

So we're looking at Hoedt, Carillio, Clasie, Boufal, Cedric, Forster, Austin, Elyounoussi, Long, Gallagher, McQueen ... ?
Long? Not getting over excited by a few goals (though I am pleased for him) but he does bring something else to the game that suits Ralph.
Ralph wants a look at Boufal before deciding. I am not counting guys that aren't first team btw, so will probably be more if you count Gallagher, McQueen etc
I think Long has played himself with at least a chance to stay with his form. But he was one of the guys Ralph wanted out at first.
We will make 'losses' on some of those players, but footballers aren't fine antiques....you don't make money on all of them. Some may have to be given gold handshakes to encourage them. The important thing is to get them out of the system....and not just for financial reasons. Be interesting to see if Ralph can make use of some of them.
Good. He could become an excellent player under Ralph. Not saying he will but the potential is certainly there.
I was counting those who count towards a squad space so ... wow, we'll be in for a busy summer then.
Personally don't think Boufal has the mentality for a Ralph side, but interesting he wants a look.
