Very different game on Saturday. I imagine the atmosphere will be quite different which should suit City more more than the helter sketler of tonight. In a way it is similar to Arsenal´s Invincible season where they crashed out of the FA Cup to Manchester United on the Saturday, lost to Chelsea in the CL but met a very benevolent Liverpool side three days later and won.

Indeed. And here's the thing: they'll have resources soon (assuming they make CL next year). They had to put a fair bit of the stadium on the credit card, which is why they're been such skinflints over the past few years, but they're going to get enough of a financial windfall from this/their new commercial deals to pay quite a bit off.
