Fraid not HR - and I take no pleasure in saying this but the Jacks are in the **** with their cost cutting Yank owners.

They have given redundancy notices to all their staff except the manager, Potter and the players - and that includes Alan Curtis who's been there for them as coach since they did so well in the Prem.

We (Cardiff) should be OK with Vince Tan at the helm, but those penny pinching Yanks down west are going to drive that club downhill.

Oh. I thought they had let go the big earners and were doing quite well. My mistake!

They did sell Ash Williams and Gylfi Sigurdsson to Everton, and Llorente to Spurs to reduce their wage bill but never replaced them with quality - they just kept the bucks to reduce the debt.

They also got stuck with Bony last season who they bought back from Man City - he's on a reported 100 grand and you can't sustain that in the Championship.

They were going to sell Dan James to Leeds in January for a reported 10 mill but pulled out thinking they could get more in the summer. He's out of contract after next year and is refusing to sign a new one that's been offered so could walk.

Damn. They have been through some horrible money issues in the past, so that is sad to hear. Next season will be telling, the parachute money ends as well.

That's not the case HR - they have another 3 years of parachute money to go albeit at reducing levels each year.

Anyway, back the Premier League being we're still in it - at the moment.....<laugh>

So nice to hear we have someone else outside South Wales wanting us to win tomorrow evening - St Brendy, I salute you sir (or madam?).

So the drop money is spread out over four seasons?
That should certainly help, if the people at the top are doing things right.

Sorry HR - I might have mislead you there. It's actually over 3 years now based upon a percentage of the income of the lowest earner in the Prem that season.

They would have had about £50M this year, another £35M next and then about £20M in the last year.

I'm not hugely bothered about who I want to stay up really but edging towards Cardiff as although I've never really liked Warnock it would be nice for him if he kept someone up. He probably deserves it too after being a bit unlucky at Sheffield United.

The race to not qualify for the Europa League preliminary rounds is heating up.

It's as if there's something in what I said a few days ago, about 7th not actually being the motivation that some like to think.

You can have 7th. No you can have it. No, please, you take it. We all just want to off on holiday, please. (And I don't mean on a EL qualifying tour!)

I missed you say that but yes. None of them have deep squads either.
