Hiding in the bushes
I shall be painting the downstairs lavvy and driving off into the middle bleeding nowhere to look at puppies.

Some other twat can do next weeks Weekend thread cos I won't be arsed. Something to do with the Good Friday Agreement iirc.

Some sort of gun dog Mrs Grove likes. Breeder half an hour drive away or breeder in the Midlands, which one do you think she's decided is best?

Up at the crack of dawn to head off to Derby or summat for an interview where we get judged. Thought that was our job tbh. We are looking at end of the year or early next year before getting a pup, plenty of time for me to get the transit van carpeted and sound proofed.

Planting some veg in my new raised beds.

cauliflower, spinach, carrots and spring onions.
What are your raised beds made of? Old train sleepers perchance?

Once we dispose of the kids trampoline I'm earmarking the vacant spot in the garden for growing veggies unless Mrs Grove wants it all turfed for the dug.

They would be the norm yes, but my son is a landscape gardener/tree surgeon. He had some oak tree trunks lying around and got his contact at the sawmill to shape them into conveniently sized timbers.

Be careful if using railway sleepers because the oil and creosote on some of them could poison your veg.

With Creosote being a champion horse, do you mean it would eat the veg?
