Looks like they are set-up for safe-standing behind the goal as well , the barriers seem to be in place for it

I went to see Sheffield Utd vs Chelsea ages ago. Leeds were at Derby in the cup. Leeds game was off. About 3000 Leeds fans turned up and chased Chelsea around Bramall Lane. It was fun! Leeds were top of old league one. Chelsea got relegated that season. Sheffield Utd were bang midtable. Strange how things turnaround. Worst experience was Baseball ground. Derby vs Liverpool. Cops pushed Liverpool fans down a walkway which was promptly bricked by Derby fans. Recall going passed a bloke laid out with half a brick on him!

You used to get bricked at Bramhall Lane early 80’s
Coppers would push you into an uncovered corner, but then not let you out, to allow the locals time to come round and brick you
    Ask RonGuv!

Been to BL loads of times to see City, also Sheff Utd vs Liverpool, and Sheff Utd vs Chelsea. Don't ever recall seeing anything major, though granted the early 80's were well iffy.
1970s. I recall City taking loads to Norwich in FA Cup in about 71, City at Coventry in FA Cup (1st time around). Plenty of memories of other escapades!

Yes. They congregated outside The Cricketers and let fly. SYP indifferent to it all...

How did that work out for them a few years later?

    I make you right dbt....

If City achieve the near miracle of going up this season and leaving aside the Allam problem), what awaits us?

A Huddersfield, Cardiff type relegation not dissimilar from our own past ones, where you get a few wins, a lot more defeats against clubs with hundreds of millions of pounds worth of quality players, being patronised and marginalised by the slavish MSM.

Somehow the money bubble has to burst and all the dodgy tycoons/oligarchs/ money launderers can **** off and find another pastime to ruin.

Yep, you're not gonna get up when you've got half a brick laid on you.
