Sudden urge to dredge up every last Nomad who was spamming our Twitter last week with their "alWayS iN Ar shADdoo" bilge, because right now they're looking pretty goddamn stupid...

Early days yet. Their PL home/away fixture split is 2:4 vs Spurs 4:2.
It will be ironic if the new WHL effect sees Spurs over the line at
their expense.

Watford. Wow. What a comeback. The magic of the cup lingers on.
Delighted for Gomes - hopefully he plays in the final and retires on an incredible career high.
Also delighted for Troy Deeney, who I have a lot of time for. We could do with some personalities like his in the changing room.

Hopefully this'll put Wolves in a foul mood and they'll hammer the Woolwich at Molineux in a few weeks.

From HYS on the BBC following today's game....

"I couldn’t count how many times an arsenal player rolled around on the floor trying to win a free kick."

Kevin Friend was a little less impressed by this type of performance than Anthony Taylor was in the NLD. The rolling around was the same though.

Watford next in the league for them. I wonder how the win will translate to league form. At least they get a week's rest while Arsenal play Napoli on Thursday.

Depends on their manager.

They are effectively 'GD safe' from relegation.
Every place you finish up the PL table earns your club
another 1.6m odd.

If he tells his squad that they are now playing for this,
and ultimately a place on the FA Cup final team sheet,
then that should suffice (BTW they have to play us away too) .

Other than that, in "cojones" Deeney we trust. :)
