Ok...I know I made it clear that I will not forget or forgive that pre season interview he years ago but I will put that aside so I don't bore you ****less again In the middle of all he said (which I think was good) he then drops in the gem of... "Teams and countries are fined less than I spend on a night out in London." There are simlly not enough s to do that justice. I have to save money to go with my kids...yet he simply think he can throq in that he spends tens of thousands on a night out (after bitching about not being paud his worth) ... I do not want that cock being our captain
I've just made a point on the PL board Wheres the outrage when footballers are shown indulging in threesomes and snorting coke of hookers tits? Or the ones that put up posts on social media with their latest Lambo? Or acting like party animals Most say things like 'what a lad' to that kind of stuff They are also showing their riches off to the world.
Not me mate...have always said that the defending of mercenary footballers demanding yet bigger contracts in order to buy yet more cars is a joke. When Rose made comments I said at the time that he'd just signed a new contract for around £65,000 per week. That's £3.25m per year on a 5 yr contract...that's a total of £16.25m. Prior to that he had been a pro footballer for 8 years. Even if you average his first 8 years at £20,000 a week (extremely unlikely) that would have been a total of £8m. A career earning total of nearly £25m by the age of 30. That's without signing on fees, sponsorship deals, endorsements and interviews. Yet he bitched about not being paid his worth. People say things like "well you would move jobs if some one doubled your pay"... yet fail to understand that doubling most people's pay would immeasurably improve their lives. If I was given a £20,000 pound per year pay rise it would guarentee us a holiday, would mean my daughter's would not end up with such huge university debts, we could have afford 3 season tickets etc. I am sorry to sound like a hippy twat but seriously do they really need another Bemtley, or another £50k watch or yet another Hugo Boss suit? It is sheer greed...Toby wants to leave cos we are "only" offering him £120,000 per week for 3 years. Thats £6m per year...a total of £18m. He has already earned millions over the past 12 years or so...his family are set for life, so are his grand children yet he will leave cos he wants more and fans defend this incalculable greed at every club...loads of spurs fans accuse Levy of being tight rather than condemning the blatant greed of players. Rant over
Another game, another offside goal for the Mousers. This time an equalizer, their 6th offside goal of the season so far.
Don't worry, it all evens itself out over the course of the season. (!) It's a sad state of affairs when it's become so common that people don't even feel it's worth mentioning.
Tielemans scored for Leicester. That’s now 8 Prem games, 4 assists and 2 goals since he arrived. Sissoko: 26 Prem games, 2 assists and 0 goals. Winks: 26 games, 0 assists and 1 goal.
Let's hope that we've already sorted out the midfield positions and aren't going to wait to see who's left in August...God knows, we've had enough time! Also good to see Leicester still in with a chance of 7th. Their last 3 games include home fixtures against Arsenal and Chelsea. Having them with something still to play for would be handy.
Apparently Tielemens is keeping his options open and waiting to see what offers come his way. If he continues this form there could be a long list of suitors in the summer.
We really need too. I appreciate there’s some deadwood that needs shifting but we’ve gotta get stuff sorted quickly to ensure new players have enough time to settle in pre-season. Interesting about Leicester's fixtures, here’s hoping Tielemans keeps up his form!
Might be a long afternoon for Brighton, Citeh look on fire 1-0 after 3 minutes. A few Citeh injuries would go down well this afternoon. Unfortunately Citeh never get any.
Interesting VAR there. Looked nothing from Walker in slow motion and VAR said no red card. But when watched at normal speed, a definite red.
It will be a calamity if we finish up 6th! Wouldn't have believed it a few months ago.It seemed to be a different player giving the ball away.Amazing!
