This is worthy of Yes Prime Minister. Govt source on challenge of reaching agreement between Theresa May and Jeremy Corbyn on a customs union: our position is a customs union but we don’t call it that. Labour’s position is not a customs union but they do call it that..so the source says the challenge is to persuade Jeremy Corbyn to sign up to Theresa May’s non customs union customs union and not call it a customs union. This would put the UK in a customs union with the EU which would then not be called a customs union.

Fatal mistake talking to that idiot Marxist, what happened to "no deal is better than a bad deal"?

Today we had the perfect example of how what leaving the EU actually means to different Tories. One leaver stood up and really got stuck in to those members of the ERG who have a very different view of what it means to him. If a member of one party cannot agree with others in the same party, how can anyone say that the public who didn't have the information now available, know exactly what they voted for 3 years ago? The only constant is with those who voted against leaving.

The latest YouGov poll today shows every English and Welsh region outside the M25 is happy to leave the EU without a deal if no agreement can be reached by the end of the week. It also shows how out of touch our sitting MPs are.

You might quote some figures from YouGov, but you could have quoted from the same poll that said in hindsight 48% thought that is was wrong to leave against 41% who thought it was a good idea. Every poll that comes out shows that people now know more, and that the gap between leave and remain grows. It shows how out of touch the loony right of the Tory party is, not MPs in general.

Well, this is the latest poll showing how most areas in England and Wales think about the current situation. The scare stories are simply not working anymore.
