Football is global get in a European and put to bed any idea of having English players Look at how Norwich and Wolves have done it Kenny Jackett etc my arse Sherwood is a nothing Start looking at the French/German leagues absolutely perfect pool of talent that continues to produce top quality footballers. Top tier English footballers currently some of the best in the world but will never play for us ... never we need to go under the radar get in someone like Julien Stephan who can pull from this massive pool of the worlds next superstars. France miles ahead in development of football and it’s totally ignored
I too think its a 'no contest' with Sherwood all but announced. I can only hope the George Costanza theory applies.
I just hope they take their time and get the right man even if that means waiting until the end of the season. If it is Sherwood and he (inevitably) fails I hope SLF doesn’t think he still has a job.
No don't worry. We never go for managers with a history of failure. Apart from Maclaren. And Sherwood. Like other clubs we also have a great track record when we choose complete unknowns such as Paulo Sousa. And historically, Ray Wilkins and Steve Burtenshaw. to name the two most obvious selections from our glorious back catalogue of disastrous appointments. We're clearly in safe hands because Tony Fernandes has such a keen eye for managerial talent.
Anyone else wonder if the PR team have been prepping for McLaren's departure for a while. Since it was announced on the official that he's gone, there have been no fewer than 12 new articles on the official site. Ranging from adverts for QPR Pay, someone from the youth team joining Watford and the new logo that has been worn in training. Plus a bit of propoganda from Freeman about being 'up for the fight'. Call me cynical but it looks to me like they are putting up any old news just to be able to paint a more cheerful picture.
Liam Fox, he knows how to trade with foreign countries and could pull in some deals. Oh hang on, scrub that
Schteeve reckons 'inconsistent results' to blame for his sacking. One win in fifteen is pretty consistently poor IMO... https://www.football.london/queens-park-rangers-fc/qpr-news-steve-mcclaren-statement-16072471
Looks like an off the shelf ‘insert name of relevant club’ release from the LMA, leaving the juicy stuff for some forthcoming autobiography.
If they’re going to look at managers who’ve beaten us recently it’s going to be a very long short list.
why don't we 606ers apply as a collective management team? I'm sure we all have slightly different ways of lining the team up.
