I think that if the South Stand is going to be a no-go for ticket holders from other areas of the ground, then a fair percentage people will use the bars in the East Stand. However, this really wasn't made clear in advance and the employees manning the barricades weren't expecting it, had little idea what was going on and most didn't deal with it particularly well.

The South Stand area was sold as THE place to be post-game and whether specifically stated or by implication, a lot of people (myself included) thought that there was free movement within the stadium, for that to be shown not to be the case and pretty bluntly at that, wasn't a great start. If you tell people well in advance, there's unlikely to be a problem but springing it on people last minute is a recipe to upset your customer base.

I'll happily have a beer in the East Stand but without free movement, it will be without certain friends and family, which is a shame. If numbers preclude it as a possibility, then that's fair enough.

Perhaps for such scenarios they could do a post-match :

- Leave the south stand facilities to go elsewhere but you
cannot return when congestion is deemed to be high

- Any stand X to stand Y movement is allowed, except for Y = south.

I trust that something amenable and productive can be worked out.

Other than the travel it was a great day to see so many greats on the same pitch, Berbatov not changed a bit ,still as lazy as ever but what a player , RDBD I take back what I said about Bassong the lad put in a massive shift yesterday . As good as it was to see Gazza back at the lane it was sad to see him struggle but what a great moment when the crowd sang his name when he went off. We were in north stand bay 115 and when the south stand broke into song for the first time I admit I had tingles down my spine the sound came at you in a solid wave it will be awsome on a game day when the stadium is full. As we were leaving we bumped into Paul Miller ,what a nice guy who took time to chat with us

You could see how much it meant to Gazza.
So sad that he has not been able to find something meaningful
other than playing football, to fill the remainder of his life. :(
There will be some vacancies in Parliament soon, one doesn't need any particular skills for that.

But seriously it is a shame, surely Spurs could find him something?

Have to say that yesterday's defeat has taken the shine off of moving into our new stadium.

Interesting to see Carr's reaction to Carbone in the handshakes at the start. Remembers him from his time at Wednesday, presumably.

Keano...deft as ever
Great finish and a good attempt at an overhead kick for Neilson's goal. Went off with a stitch, then came back on again later.
He's Ireland's assistant manager at the moment, but you'd expect that to leave him with plenty of free time.
I wonder if he'd be any use to the club in a coaching role of some description?

He could teach Sissoko how not to **** his pants when glory is in sight
