Oligopoly.

Oligopoly.

Is it a type of Cheese? <confused>

it's a word made from greek words meaning few and many. i suppose it's a variation on monopoly, so perhaps a market dominated by a few outsized corporations.

Colin is a **** and I can't stand the bloke, but managers of the smaller teams, us included when we were in the top fight, are continuingly battling against these decisions that are so unjust, and because of that you can understand his frustration. The implications are immense, they can make the difference between relegation and staying up, which financially are enormous.

Looks like he's going to get away with it...

Sky Sports News‏ @SkySportsNews
Neil Warnock will not face any sanction from the FA for his behaviour on the pitch after the final whistle of @CardiffCityFC’s home game against @ChelseaFC on Sunday, Sky Sports News understands.

And so he shouldn't.

Cock or not, Colin has a point, made on behalf of all smaller clubs in the Premier League.

Referees subconsiously (?) favour the bigger clubs all the time. Will VAR solve it ? Maybe ......

Colin's a ****er (it's in the name of course), but he was 100% correct. The big clubs get ****ing loads in the PL, and that Cardiff game was a prime example of it.

It wasn't even a marginal offside. He was a mile off.

And what about the penalty awarded at White Hart Lane when the ball hit Elmo's arm as he was jumping 2 feet away from the Spurs player !
The big teams always get the decisions against the small teams
Oliver! Need I say more? The ball hit Elmo on the thigh and brushed his hand. Oliver couldn't wait to point to the spot. VAR would have ruled it out and made him look like the prat he surely is.

One like isn't enough for that summation - it was so blatantly not a penalty; the whole team defended out of their skins that day to totally snuff out Spurs goal threats, all undone by a **** who, as you rightly say, couldn't wait to be centre stage and theatrically point to the spot ........ the utter **** him.

as well as Gallas offside goal against us in the cup - Sanchez handled the ball over his head and into the net, why wasn't Elmos given?? - Gibbs foul on Markovic only a yellow - two pushes on Turner by Liverpool for two goals - you can even go as far back as the wrong way throw in that knocked us out of the cup v Stoke - I'm sure we've had the rub of the green ourselves like the Snodgrass (TWS ****) dive against Palarse but when playing the top 6 ie when the worldwide PL brand is at stake, you've npo chance - which is why Sterling and Salah can get away with diving all over the place, another pair of ****s

VAR would've proved the first Arsenal goal from the free kick in the Cup final was never a free kick, as it was a great tackle by Alex Bruce.

Not forgetting that their equaliser came from a corner that wasn't a corner too.

It wouldn't, VAR isn't used to overturn a free kick or corner.

Just because the PL instinctively favours the bigger clubs doesn't mean that Warnock is not a dyed in the wool sheff u ****, cut from the same cloth as the present porker in chief Chris "100% gammon" Wilder.

Spot on...When Maddison did it for Lester he got a yellow to add to another and was rightly sent off. The wonder kids of Liverpool, Chelsea, Man Utd, Citeh et al, get a penalty. Hopefully VAR will provide an even terrain, but don't bank on it. If the decision comes from someone watching on a screen ie not the ref, who knows how much pressure the watcher is on to still come down on the side of the bigger club.

Probert was never going to let us win on that day. The same could be said for Riley when we played them in the QF at there place.
