That was an odd game. Started really well, got the goal and controlled things. Then spurs pushed on, albeit we didn’t look like conceding until we got undone with the free kick.

So so many errors in there. Hendo runs away from the ball, clearly no game intelligence there. As an example Lucas stopped us taking s free kick for about 30 seconds within the first 5 mins and Hendo doesn’t even think abut it. Then TAA totally switched off and let Lucas get goal side of him, watching he didn’t even try and chase back, really poor from TAA who still needs to develop as a defender first.

Mo had a decent game but should have really passed to mane when was through and even his header for the goal was shocking. He really just needs a tap in off his knee or something to get this monkey off his back.

Overall strange performance but the result was the important thing after city won. City had 2 nice easy games with Fulham and Cardiff so we just need to hang onto them until they get to there tricky run of games and hope they drop points there

Yes but at the same time.

Tripper played all onside for us too, alderweirled and lloris really ****ed up.

I think we're backed/switched off more than then pushing us back

We won, not convincingly but still a win. Onward and upward. If City draw with Cardiff we are in the driving seat. I admit it may be a slim chance, but I am ever the optimist.

As long as we win the games I just don't care anymore how it happens, that's all we can do whilst praying City draw or lose one of their games. It's obvious we've still got slight holes in the side, we all know the flaws, and we're up against it since City have a better squad. At least we're still on the ride.

Called it about Lloris didn't I?

****er

I said for about 4 years that he’s an ever so slightly better Mingolet. Pulls off a woldie save but flaps at crosses, can’t kick it and throws in about 3 a season. It just gets glossed over by a lot of pundits.

Motd2 today for example, him and Pickford leading in goals from errors and jenas was spot on when said for every penalty save is a howler today, for every Dortmund performance is a tripper back pass.

I actually thought when he first first arrived he was brilliant at sweeping and using his feet, but seems to have regressed massively and is now just stuck to his line.

Never gonna happen
End of

Warnock already said will play weaker team to keep them fresh for Burnley at weekend. Said under 23s which prob pushing it but if I was him then would make sense to rest the majority for more crucial game.

They are 5 points behind. they can't really afford to throw a game and then lose 9-0.

if they do they are going to be down.

The reality is Warnock knows his gd is already pathetic and we need to get more points than Brighton or burnely.

He's 5 down with one game in hand or in real terms if he throws the game 5 down with 5 to play.

If his gamble fails then they play burnely in a do or die game.

Then they get another shot at do or die v Brighton mid week

Then after all that they play us.

Both burnely and Brighton are away games so it's quite possible they are 6 points off safety or more when they come to play us with 3 to play.

Then a loss at home relegated them.... so you know exactly what will happen then.

They play Fulham and then palace so..... yes you can see his logic that he's a far better chance of points v burnely and Brighton and those are relegation 6 pointers... it does make sense.. but.... to throw a game now when you are 5 points off safety is putting all eggs in that basket.

They could easily be 6 or 7 points off safety playing us.

Just watched the highlights, I'm too emotional during the game to call anything fairly. Spurs certainly came back into it in the 2nd half but we also had chances, point reach would have been fair but **** fair.
