there's no way that Utd will get a gap enough to throw goals in. tjey will have to get a result.

there's 6 to go. all 4 teams battling for 3rd and 4th need to win them all.

we need to beat Chelsea which won t be easy

We won, not convincingly but still a win. Onward and upward. If City draw with Cardiff we are in the driving seat. I admit it may be a slim chance, but I am ever the optimist.

Even if I was my complete opposite, I still wouldn't be optimistic

Even if they have to win they surely cannot take points off City. If city play to a fraction of their ability they’ll beat Man United easily.

I just wished we didn’t have rely on our deadly historical rivals to do us a favour

If I’m honest, I can’t see anyone stopping them. I can only hope that as their extra games add up, it takes a toll and someone scrapes a draw. That only mattters if we win 6/6.

Yep, I don't buy this 'lucky own goal' bullshit. Own goals come from all sorts of things........pressure, panic, poor goalkeeping etc.
Lloris .........you beautiful, useless sack of **** <laugh>

One thing is for certain; whoever misses out, whether it be a a single point, goal difference or a country mile, they will have "bottled it" according to all other fans <doh>

he was thinking. do I really care....

like moura... he stood and block a free early and cross the ref twice leading to a stern finger way saying that's your 1 no more.

he was them indulged twice.more with fouls before he when cynically fouled salah.

the ref also ignored 3 clear handball I say from us.

    frankly shocking reffing this week

Not sure about the handballs, there was one by Hendo in the 1st half not given. Then one in the 2nd half from Sissoko? not given.
Moura should have been booked earlier, so he either wouldn't foul Mo later on or would be off the park.
You can tell a ref is having a shocker when he finally gives a free kick and its greeted with ironic cheers from thousands of fans.

That was an odd game. Started really well, got the goal and controlled things. Then spurs pushed on, albeit we didn’t look like conceding until we got undone with the free kick.

So so many errors in there. Hendo runs away from the ball, clearly no game intelligence there. As an example Lucas stopped us taking s free kick for about 30 seconds within the first 5 mins and Hendo doesn’t even think abut it. Then TAA totally switched off and let Lucas get goal side of him, watching he didn’t even try and chase back, really poor from TAA who still needs to develop as a defender first.

Mo had a decent game but should have really passed to mane when was through and even his header for the goal was shocking. He really just needs a tap in off his knee or something to get this monkey off his back.

Overall strange performance but the result was the important thing after city won. City had 2 nice easy games with Fulham and Cardiff so we just need to hang onto them until they get to there tricky run of games and hope they drop points there
