if it's not an ex Saints player scoring for Liverpool it's an ex Saints player scoring for Liverpool!
Just looking at the points difference between Chelsea and Wolves, the bottom half of the PL starts at the team in 7th. In terms of ability the gap between Burnley and Wolves is not great, but it is quite considerable between Wolves and an indifferent Chelsea. Could the gap be as wide as 20 come the end of the seaon? That would be insane.
The Relegation Battle: Cardiff: City (A) Burnley (A) Brighton (A) Liverpool (H) Fulham (A) Palace (H) Utd (A) My predicted additional points: 3 (FWIW 3 draws) Burnley: B'mth (A) Cardiff (H) Chelsea (A) City (H) Everton (A) Arsenal (H) My predicted additional points: 4
I'd prefer one of Burnley or Brighton to go instead, but I can't see the bluebirds over taking either. But, today does kind of highlight, everything is still to play for. Chelsea did not deserve that win.
I stand by my comments 100%. Got 3 points, but that was shocking from top to bottom. Selection, attitude, effort, everything. Had there been a real ref, that get of of jail card would have stayed at the bottom of the deck.
Don't want Brighton to go down, cos I still haven't made it to their new ground yet, and I'd like to visit it with us both in the PL. Yes, I really am that shallow. Burnley would not be missed.
Cardiff only have two home games left? They’re ****ed then. Can’t see them beating Burnley at Turf Moor either. Might beat Fulham at the Cottage I suppose
