Michael Gove and Boris Johnson are favourites to take over as PM
I'm not confident they can because the divisions are huge on both sides of the House. If Monday fails, it's surely WTO or the EU gives enough to get May's deal through.
Never saw you as someone who viewed the EU as the knight on a white charger coming to rescue us from self-destruction - surely not those corrupt unelected tyrants? May has made the whole country a damsel in distress.
I could see a GE with parties having to offer a clear outcome. Tory grassroots should start deselecting hardline Remainers now imo. Corbyn can take a Remain weighted stance
A note from Kipling to the next Tory leader.......
I could not dig; I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?
as requestedGood for them
This whole Brexit thing is a wonderful tangle
I believe the outcome was decided a long time back this is all complex theatre and the crap we are all guilty of posting is us eating their crap
Kiwi reprint this in March
Now that is a disgrace. Nothing's going to keep everyone happy but some softer Brexit would have worked to a degree. Crash out or cancel the whole thing is a bloody powder keg.8 different versions of Brexit? I think not.
