Should be be allowed to play football again? Yes/No, then people will justify their answer by debating how bad his crime was.
In theory ? By law he is and should be allowed to play at whatever level he can again. In practice? ****er broke the law, abused his position as a celebrity sportsman and I don't think he's ever shown any remorse about it. So I don't think any top level club in England (UK) should employ him
Does the law stop him from playing at the highest level again? If not, then yes he should be allowed. But anybody in this or any other big league would be committing commercial suicide if they gave him even a trial. If the law stops him, is he allowed anywhere near children in a working environment which footballers often are?, then he shouldnt be allowed. They can hardly wheel him in through the stadium, under a blanket and onto the safety zone of a football pitch in order for him to avoid contact with children. Would children have to be ushered to the back of the stadium every time he takes a throw in? Every time he would go on a darting run down the wing there would be a Mexican wave of children shifting seats.
So legally? Im not sure. Morally? God no!
I was gonna google what the age of consent was in certain countries, find the one where the age of consent is lower and its football has the best reputation and state that he will end up there. Then had to stop myself in case somebody grabbed hold of my internet history and made the wild assumption that I was planning my next holiday.

I assume that the laws would stipulate that anybody over a certain age are not entitled to take advantage of these low ages?

Big debate in France around this. Atm, 15 is the age at which you can legally have sex (I.e a 19 year old can have sex with a 15 year old and it isn't a crime). Under 15, and you can be done for sexual assault but for rape it has to be proved that violence, threats, constraint or surprise was used (this is how rape is defined in France). What They currently debating is an age of consent, under which its automatically classed as rape. Looks like it will be either 13 or 15 years of age.
Was just to make a point. Most Asians look 10 years younger than they are, but that 41 year old looks ridiculously young imo.
What about Portugal? In this country it is basically not frowned upon if two 15 year olds have sex, even though its technically illegal, so I assume it is the same if two 20 year olds in Portugal do the same. However, in Britain, if an 18 year old has sex with a 15 year old then its prison sentence and sex offenders list. In Portugal if a 23 year old shags a 20 year old, what happens?
Presumably it's a crime, which seems absolutely mad. Then again, the Japs probably think we're crazy for considering it a crime for a 20 year old and a 15 year old to bang.
