Junior booked the tickets for yesterday and accidentally booked E6 rather than our usual seats in E7.

What a bunch of whinging bastards we ended up with, shouting abuse at our own players all game and booing at the end.

Never again.

Nah, they said 'all' they want is (another) £50 million back that they reckon they are still owed.
If we went up, they'd be plenty willing to pay £50 million, so no likelihood of them hanging around.
They never, ever go back on their word you know.
Unfortunately we won't get to find out, as we won't be going up [HASHTAG]#noreally[/HASHTAG]

Personally, I think the opposite, if we went up Ehab IMO rather likes the kudos that goes with owning a football club in the EPL, goes with his lifestyle and Lamborghinis. I have the feeling he would stick around, get as much money as he could make out of being in the EPL etc and then sell for the best price he can when it's all over, taking as much out of the club as he can.

I agree. The Allams would be mad not to take the EPL money, plus the inevitable parachute money the following season(s).

I was being sarcastic by the way!!! The words 'they never, ever go back on their word" was a little clue :emoticon-0105-wink:

Shame, some of us in E6 are quite civilised. That’s the random lottery of having to book seats and not being able to shuffle away from the nobs.

Felt the game needed changing second half and he didn’t do much about it.

Three of our back four were poor and Irvine looked knackered in front of them.

It’s basically a case of us having to out-score teams lately.

A classic sign of a lack of reliable cover.

I dread to think what team we’ll be putting out next season. Lots of players out of contract with the club seemingly missing extension deadlines, contracted players that will no doubt move on.

This isnt just aimed at you.. but the exact same line has been thrown out the last 2 summers and look at this season's "poor" team has achieved. Yes next season could be worse ( I think it will be btw! ) But maybe we will be surprised again

Burnsy summed it up, it's what Ipswich did and look what's happened to them. Eventually, the quality of the league catches up with you and if you try and do it on the cheap, you end up at the bottom of the pile.

Either we do what Brentford do and sustain ourselves by selling players for a large profit, or we get promoted. We can't do the latter without proper investment, so it'll have to be selling players.

I expect Bowen to go, Grosicki will probably go to a team further up the league and I think Burke might get a few interested glances if he keeps playing well.

I agree....next season will probably one to many, but everyone thought that about this season and look at where we are, hopefully we pull another rabbit out the hat haha

The stark reality of football austerity finally bites us on the Harris, the future won’t be for the faint hearted and tragically won’t be witnessed by many until the owners leave.

Do we think Nige will stay?
He’ll leave of his own accord or there’s a reason he hasn’t been offered a deal?

Unless he screams and shouts about what’s going on,Nigel Adkins is just what the current owners want. A good manager who gets on with things under incredibly difficulty circumstances and financial restraints.

All a bit sad really...

We’ll be a million miles away from this season. Team with potentially no Marshall, Bowen, Grosicki, Henriksen etc.

No parachute payments.

Salary cap rumoured to be £10k a week. We’ll sign League one/two players and it’s my expectation that’s where we will be playing season after next.
