Just had a Terry on the Dramas Forum and they reckon we booed our own team off at the end.

Never heard that.

Rumbling of discontent about the ref not stopping the game when one of ours was down injured and the ball seemed to go over the deadball line.

But no real booing.

Anyone?
Yeah, some half hearted boos from East Stand on the whistle.

Game was very frustrating. We’re back to the Slutsky days of a non-existent defence and relying on scoring the other end. QPR were rubbish and fell apart any time we pressed them, but we gave them two comedy goals, gift wrapped with a pretty ribbon and a bow on top.

We went to pieces after their first goal, and not for the first time we missed Henricksen as captain. Goalies as captain just don’t work for us, whether Marshall or Mr Angry before him. It needs to be an outfield player to calm things down and pull everyone together. Looking at our lineup I’d have given it to Pugh, although turns out he didn’t have a great game anyway.

Bemused as to why Frasier came off, he didn’t appear to be struggling and was doing a good job needling the opposition. Also a mystery why Lichaj stayed in the bench when the back were struggling so much. Ridgewell is a “warm body” in the team - much like Ryan Taylor was a couple of seasons back. Reece Burke did ok but he couldn’t couldn’t do it all on his own.

Thank heavens for Jarrod.

Are they letting the contracts run out to offer new ones on reduced terms?

Can anyone work out where we would be without Bowen's goals this year, because when he goes in the summer, that's what we could be looking at next year

I'm not too bothered what our results are now we're safe TBH. As long as the play offs are a mathematical possibility, the Allams will not sell. The lure of another year in the PL and the 3 years of parachute payments (after the inevitable relegation) will see them keep their claws in the club. The sooner we can't be promoted, the sooner we might see them looking for a sale.
I'm pissed off with myself that they have reduced me to NOT wanting City to be promoted, but it's the bigger picture that matters now.

There was booing near me

Rather disappointing being 2-0 up and then finishing 2-2. Adkin's substitutions or lack of seems rather confusing. Lichaj should have come on as an extra defender, rather than Martin for Campbell IMO. At least try and protect your lead, rather than just change a forward for a forward.

But like others have said, I feel getting promoted will just keep the terrible two at the club, and the sooner they are gone the better.

Campbell was out in his feet. He had to come off.

The mystery us why no Lichaj, McKenzie got mullered by their number ten. He needed to either come off or go into the three cb's and put Lichaj in.
Mystifying from nige.

Never went, saw highlights on the telly. Ball at least one foot over the line. VAR would have overturned it in a heartbeat. On the telly, nobody other than Marshall seemed to care to protest with the rest just trudging back to the halfway line.
Not exactly keen to get it over turned, which probably influenced the ref.

Plenty of players close by challenging it

The problem was the lino was rubbish

He'd also missed Grosicki being hugely offside earlier due to the fact he was huffing and puffing 10 yards behind play (lino not Grosicki)

Biggest mistake this season. Not replacing Elphick in Jan. Short on squad quality. Cheap replacement. Still short of numbers. Really good chance of the play offs with a little investment. ****ed up by numbskull business at a critical time. That’s it.
'Biggest mistake this season'? - New contract for team captain.

Nah, they said 'all' they want is (another) £50 million back that they reckon they are still owed.
If we went up, they'd be plenty willing to pay £50 million, so no likelihood of them hanging around.
They never, ever go back on their word you know.
Unfortunately we won't get to find out, as we won't be going up [HASHTAG]#noreally[/HASHTAG]
